Day 01 ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi this evening. Upon arrival at the airport you will be met and escorted
to the hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 02: DELHI
Delhi with its Old and New parts - each with its specific charm and glory -
makes a very interesting city for its sustenance to medieval and modern cultures
at the same time and space. Today, you will explore the capital of India in
a full-day guided tour - visiting Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gandhi's cremation
site, Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar. You will also enjoy a rickshaw ride in
Old Delhi and will drive past the colonial Delhi....

Day 03: DELHI /AGRA Drive
This morning drive to Agra - en route visiting Sikandara. You will arrive at
Agra around noon and check into your hotel. Later in the afternoon, you will
be taken on a tonga (horse-carriage) to visit Taj Mahal where you will stay
till after sunset when Taj Mahal looks its best....

Day 04: AGRA
Early this morning you have a chance to revisit Taj Mahal at sunrise which is
another stunning experience.... After a leisurely morning, in the afternoon,
you would be taken to visit Agra Fort before returning to your hotel to spend
the rest of the day in leisure....

Day 05: AGRA/SAMODE Drive
After a leisurely morning you will be driven to Samode, which is just outside
Jaipur. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved Mughal city built
at the height of the empire's splendor. You will arrive at the small village
of Samode, nestled among rugged hills. Samode Palace was once the residence
of the erstwhile royal family of Shekhawati, and is decorated in Shekhawati
style with a wealth of frescoes, many of them depicting religious subjects.
Check into the hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure....

Day 06: SAMODE

Today
you will make an excursion to Jaipur. In the morning, you visit the Amber Fort
- one of the most fascinating of Indian forts. You will reach the fort majestically
atop an elephant; once inside the fort, you visit the Palace of Mirrors, Hall
of Public Audience and the beautifully manicured gardens. Afternoon you will
spend exploring the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) and the
Jantar Mantar (astrological observatory).

Day 07: SAMODE-MANDAWA Drive
This morning you will be driven to Mandawa, situated in the Shekhawati region.
You will arrive in Mandawa before noon and check into Castle Mandawa, which
dates back to 1760 and has a charming medieval atmosphere. In the afternoon,
you explore Mandawa and the famous painted buildings here, the havelis of the
Tibrewala and the Modis, Khetri Mahal and Biharji Temple.

DAY 08: MANDAWA-BIKANER Drive
Today, you will be driven to Bikaner.... En route you visit the medieval town
of Fatehpur. Here, you visit the Goenka Haveli, which has beautiful mirror-work
and some fine murals. You also see the remains of a huge 17th century step-well.
You will arrive in Bikaner early in the evening and would be at leisure for
the rest of the day....

DAY 09: BIKANER
In the morning today you will be taken to visit Bikaner city in a half-day
tour. Afternoon may be spent in leisure or you can explore the city on your
own....

DAY 10: BIKANER-JAISALMER Drive
This morning you will be driven to Jaisalmer - Rajasthan's most enchanting destination,
an oasis of colour, ancient palaces and delicately sculpted houses. You will
arrive in Jaisalmer in the afternoon and would be at leisure for the rest of
the day....

DAY 11: JAISALMER
You will start the day with a visit to the Fort. Within the Fort is the Rawal's
seven-storey palace with beautifully carved balconies and exquisitely carved
temples and havelis built by the Jain community. The visit to the fort will
be followed by a visit to Patwon-ki-Haveli and Nathmalji-ki-Haveli. In the evening
you would be taken to sand dunes of Sam where you will also have the opportunity
to enjoy a short camel ride....

DAY 12: JAISALMER-JODHPUR Drive
After a leisurely morning you will head for the city of Jodhpur where you
will arrive around noon and check into the hotel. The afternoon may be spent
in leisure or you may explore the city on your own.

DAY 13: JODHPUR
In the morning today you explore the magnificent Mehrangarh fort, one of
the largest forts in India, unsurpassed in beauty and grandeur. The tour of
the fort will be followed by a visit to the old town where you walk through
the market getting a feel of the town. Early in the evening you will be taken
on a short jeep safari to immaculately kept villages of Bishnoi tribals who
are known for their belief in the sanctity of plant and animal life. A variety
of deer roaming freely is the attraction of these villages.

DAY 14: JODHPUR-DEOGARH Drive
Today, you drive to the town of Deogarh. En route you will visit Ranakpur
- the largest and most beautifully preserved Jain Temples in India. You will
arrive Deogarh in the noon and check into Deogarh Mahal. Restored and run by
the erstwhile ruling family the area, Deogarh Mahal is one of the best-maintained
and run palace hotel. The palace hotel also has an extremely impressive collection
of old miniature paintings - in fact, the Deogarh School of Painting was one
of the most important school of Indian miniature paintings.

DAY 15: DEOGARH
This morning you will be taken to the nearby cave temples, which will be followed
by a short train ride in the neighboring areas. This will be your chance to
closely see Rajasthani villages and their own unique customs. The afternoon
may be spent in the hotel or you may walk down to the nearby lake, visited by
a large number of migratory birds from November to February.

DAY 16: DEOGARH-KHUMBHALGARH-UDAIPUR Drive
Today, en route your journey to Udaipur, you visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort. Perhaps
the most majestic of all forts in India, Kumbhalgarh boasts of the second largest
wall in the world. You will arrive in Udaipur in the afternoon.... The day will
end with a relaxing boat ride on Lake Pichola. From the lake you will get unmatched
views of the gardens surrounding the fascinating Lake Palace Hotel and the two
islands in the lake.

DAY 17: UDAIPUR
The day begins with a visit to the City Palace, which is largest in Rajasthan.
You will also see lovely medieval Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-Ki-Bari or the
"Gardens of the Maids of Honour". The rest of the day may be spent
in leisure or you may explore on your own....

DAY 18: UDAIPUR-DELHI-ONWARD JOURNEY Flight
The day will be spent in leisure till it is time to leave for the airport
to catch your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi you will be received and
taken to a hotel for day room (Check out 2000 Hours). Later in the evening you
will be escorted to International Airport to catch your flight back home....
