The team leader, Ramesh Nambiar is a 43 year old, energetic, enthusiastic adventure and wildlife enthusiast, with ancestral roots in down south Kerala, was born in Shillong, Meghalaya, nestled in the beautiful North-east.He went to school at St. Edmund's run by the Irish Brothers and then moved to the Deccan and graduated from Nizam's College in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, where many of India's cultural flavors blend. Since completing his Post Graduation from Jawahar Lal Nehru University in Delhi in Political Geography and submitting his M. Phil dissertation on "River water disputes in South Asia" he went to pursue his lifelong passion for exploring the outdoors.

He has since then worked in the travel industry first as a professional and since 2003 built up his own company, Oasis Excursions Private Limited, New Delhi. He has travelled extensively both in India and around the world in the course of his work. In addition to facilitating travel and tour needs of mostly foreign clientele, his company provides diverse organisational services such as event management (meetings, exhibitions, entertainment etc), liason services with the government, logistics and hospitality services particularly for media related work (films, documentary production), assistance for overseas companies to set up offices in India.
